Take them out slowly and gently. Most people spoil their blind easily when they don’t handle their new blind properly, especially if they are made from plastic.

Step 1

Now, attach the mounting bracket onto your window frame. Position it where you want it. Then mark the hole openings in the bracket with a pencil. You will drill these tiny circular spots later on. Repeat with the other mounting bracket.

Step 2

Drill the spots with your pencil marks. Before you do that, be sure the diameters for both your screws and the drill bit are the same.

Step 3

Use the screwdriver to fix the mounting brackets onto the window frame by turning the screws in

Step 4

Unlock the “safety latch” on your blind. Then attach your window headrail to the mounting bracket. You are almost done.

Step 5

Lock the headrail by securing the latch on the mounting bracket. Do this for both sides.

Step 6

Then simply cover the headrail with the valance (if it comes with the blind) and you are done.
